In March, three consecutive days, namely from 6 to 8 March, Lviv will be welcoming chocolate gluttons from all parts of Ukraine and all over the world. The city will become a chocolate heart of actions and performances. Here fresh just produced chocolate flavour will spread over the city.

This year Festival of Chocolate will take place at three locations: Market Square, the square in front of the Lviv Opera House and in Lviv Palace of Arts.

The decision host Festival of Chocolate at the Palace of Arts is motivated by the fact that for the celebration organizers planned a large number of workshops and other spectacular actions with chocolate, which certainly require special dry conditions and the continuous maintenance of stable temperature that can be provided only inside. Changing weather conditions and unstable air temperature makes it impossible to implement such plans open-air. Preparatory work is already being carried out; air conditioners and other equipment for making on-site celebrations the best enabling environment are being installed.

The highlight of this year's festival will be participation of the world-famous chocolatier-confectioner from Uzhhorod - Valentine Shtefanio in the Chocolate Festival.

Guru of chocolate creativity will lead interesting workshops; will demonstrate virtuosos’ show of creating huge chocolate sculptures. Master plans to impress Festival visitors by 2 meter giant sculpture of a lion made of chocolate.

Lviv sculptors will shape in front of the audience 10 different sculptures made of chocolate. Men will have a great opportunity to give their ladies one of these fantastic masterpieces, which can be purchased on chocolate auction on March 8^th.

Chocolate fountains, concerts, a giant chocolate cake are waiting for you! There will be set a specially equipped playroom, where kids can enjoy plenty of chocolate sweets, play games and have fun taking active part in various quizes and competitions. The program planned for children: children's chocolate body art, puppet shows, drawing competitions ...
